Oh my. Good riddance to life, social contacts in person, and sleep: I got invited to the closed preview of Google Wave! And I can tell you: it seriously rocks my pants. Somehow Google managed not only to create enough hype around it by re-inventing it's invite policy (last used for Google Mail), they also managed to pull it off - meaning: after watching the official (launch?) Video and getting to use it myself, one understands the amazement the makers try to convey in the video.

Because it is. Amazing, I mean. They make you feel like you are part of the future, almost with a touch of Science Fiction to it...

So... I gather there are a lot of people out there who'd like an invite? I happen to still have one invite free, so if you feel you really want one, comment on this journal and paste me a thumb of a deviation of yours that best fits the theme, e.g. describing why you want to be part of it, etc. I'll feature the best three in my next journal, and the best one get's an invite! I'll decide in about a week or so (if anyone is interested, that is)...
